2 Halves of Biscuits and Gravy
Added to a 2 egg combo. Biscuits were flaky & fresh, the gravy was wonderful! I would put the gravy on every breakfast item. And thank you to Sue, who always treats me like family
Philly French
I have ordered this sandwich 3 times in the past three weeks for my mother she loves this sandwich with a side of potato salad. I've had the French Dip and both sandwiches are delicious and the bread is amazing fresh, so soft like the restaurant just baked the bread it's like this all the time. This restaurant is a hidden gem that everyone needs to know about and at least visit once, and I guarantee you will return again and again.. The food is delicious and the service is amazing weather you're dining in or out you won't be disappointed.
Breakfast Burrito
Breakfast burritos here are to die for, add mushrooms if you really want a perfect burrito. Salsa is almost as fantastic as the staff too, make sure to get extra!
CFS Burger
When I went for the first time all of the employees were very nice. I got the cfs burger (Country fried steak burger) it was very good. The day after I went again

I live in Brentwood Ca approximately 30+ miles to Jims Country Restaurant which is without question the greatest value from the very best prepared food and the generous portions. I go to Jims every time I am in Pleasanton area. Thank you Jim's for your great food and service!!!
Breakfast Burrito
One of the many items i have tried and never has failed! The staff, the food, everything is on point! You would not be disappointed....
1 French Toast & Eggs
We add cinnamon and Apple to our Breakfast and it was just delicious. The owner was very friendly and we loved the style of the diner. Really worth to visit/eat there.
4 Halves of Biscuits and Gravy
This restaurant is hands down the BEST in the Bay Area! How many restaurants do you know where you get the same fabulous freshly cooked meal absolutely every time?!!! I'm picky about my food; if there's no flavor or it's cooked wrong, I'm not adding to my calorie count! But when I come to Jim's all I think about is great food and the family atmosphere where long time staff greets the familiar face they remember, asking you how you are, the minute you walk in the door. That's what an old small town restaurant of the past used to do; it's where people gathered and enjoyed good food among friends that made them feel great; you just don't see that anymore, but you see it here! The always recognizable longtime wait staff gives the best service here bar none! Great coffee in an endless coffee cup; (rarely do I ever have to ask for a refill) flavored creams (nice touch!!) served by people that all their patrons have come to feel like are really just friends. It's the Cheers of the food world! Jim's is a throw back to the past with real freshly and carefully prepared food that always looks picture worthy on the platter with big portions enough to fill a doggy bag for two days. You can't go wrong with any item on this menu; I know that because while I have my favorites, it's my go to place to bring friends and visiting family, and they're just as impressed with the things they order and can't wait to go back again! My longtime favorite is a linguica, American cheese and onion omelet and I'm telling you that even if you're normally not a fan of the individual elements, as some of my friends aren't, when they taste my omelet, they're hooked and adding it to their list of favorites. I should say that I'm from the south; I love my biscuits and gravy and nobody's ever been able to touch my mom's...except here! I'm still trying to figure out that little extra something that I don't recognize because I promise you it's amazing, and though I suppose I could ask, not knowing and repeatedly trying to figure it out, gives me a reason to keep coming back to try it again and again!!! Whether it's breakfast or lunch, an omelet, a scramble, something sweet, a burger or anyone of the other wonderful concoctions they have on their menu, Jim's is a staple for good food and good conversation and it's worth the drive, which I make all the time from another town. There are a lot of restaurants you can choose from but not a lot where you can say your money was well spent; at Jim's Country Breakfast you'll never be disappointed that you didn't spend well.

French Dip
We been coming to Jim's just about every weekend for over 10 yrs and they never disappoint. The staff and food is excellent. My favorite for Breakfast is the Ham and eggs. The portions are huge and cook it just the way you like. My favorite for lunch is the French did sandwich and club. Can't go wrong for the price. I could go on and on in this review but come in for yourself and try it. You won't be disappointed. Hidden Gem.
